Welcome to the official website of Rey The Key.

I’ve previously relied on social media (Instagram) to promote my art, and that can be a great outlet, but i would like to remove the grip social media has on my life.

I would like to stay in my creative bubble, and not fade into/ endorse the overconsumption of social media.

It also seems to me that social media can saturate/ stain the subject and i would like to distance myself from that.

I don’t think social media is completely bad, and i have no judgement toward anyone on it. It does have great attributes to it, and I’ll try to have some healthy presence there. But as for myself i haven’t had a healthy relationship with it.

I went a long time without access to phone/ internet, and in that time social media evolved into a different beast, with reels (to reel you in) and algorithms to keep you stuck, and the stimulus can be psychologically overwhelming.

Rey The Key is about becoming UNSTUCK.

So to be true to my path, and fulfilling long term goals, I’ve built this website.
